"What does redesigning the Moka mean, maybe just improving what it already is?" David Chipperfield started from this question to develop his design, with a desire to design a popular, simple and familiar object just like the first espresso maker invented in the early 1900s by Alfonso Bialetti, Alberto Alessi's maternal grandfather. A tribute that is enriched with innovative formal and functional solutions, starting with the eleven-sided body, passing through the anti-drip spout to arrive at the particularly convenient and practical knob and handle.
