What are cookies?

Cookies are strings of text that websites visited by users (so-called Publishers, or "first parties") or different sites or web servers (so-called "third parties") place and store within the user's terminal device same, so that they are then re-transmitted to the same sites on the next visit. *

What are they for?

TECHNICAL COOKIES

They are generally necessary for the correct functioning of the website and to allow navigation; without them, you may not be able to view pages correctly or use some services. They are generated and managed by parties other than the operator of the website on which the user is browsing (usually by virtue of a contract between the owner of the website and the third party).

Are analytical cookies technical cookies?

Analytics can be assimilated to technical cookies if used for the purpose of optimizing the site directly by the owner of the site itself, who will be able to collect statistical information in aggregate form on the number of users and how they visit the site.

If, however, the processing of such statistical analyses is entrusted to third parties, the user data must be previously minimized and cannot be combined with other processing or transmitted to further third parties. What rights can I exercise?

1. RIGHT OF ACCESS (art. 15 GDPR)
   The interested party has the right to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of personal data relating to his concern, even if not yet registered, and their communication in an intelligible form.
2. RIGHT OF CORRECTION (art. 16 GDPR)
   The interested party has the right to obtain the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning him or her and also the integration of incomplete data.
3. RIGHT OF CANCELLATION (art. 17 GDPR)
   The interested party has the right to obtain the deletion of personal data in the presence of particular reasons such as the revocation of consent, opposition to processing or if data are no longer necessary to the purposes for which they were collected and processed or in case of unlawful processing. It is possible to proceed with cancellation but it will certainly be the responsibility of the data controller to provide adequate motivation.
4. RIGHT TO LIMITATION OF PROCESSING (art. 18 GDPR)
   The interested party has the right to obtain the limitation of processing in the presence of particular hypotheses such as, for example, in the case of a request for rectification or opposition during the time of evaluation of the requests.
5. RIGHT TO PORTABILITY (art. 20 GDPR)
   If the processing is based on consent or contract and is carried out with automated tools, the interested party can receive them in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format or ask to transmit them to another owner.
6. RIGHT TO OBJECT (art. 21 GDPR)
   The interested party has the right to object, in whole or in part:
   a) for legitimate reasons for the processing of personal data concerning him, even if pertinent to the purpose of the collection;
   b) to the processing of personal data concerning him for the pursuit of purposes not contemplated by the art. 2.
   The user can formulate a request to object to the processing of his personal data pursuant to article 21 of the GDPR in which to highlight the reasons justifying the opposition: the Data Controller reserves the right to evaluate the request, which would not be accepted if it existed of compelling legitimate reasons to proceed with the processing which prevail over the interests, rights and freedoms of the user.
7. RIGHT TO SUBMIT A COMPLAINT
   The interested party has the right to propose a claim to the competent supervisory authority pursuant to Article 77 of the GDPR if it considers that the processing of your data is contrary to the legislation in force.
