BON BON

Born in Tokyo in 1968, she studied at the Royal College of Art in London and specialized her research in the design of jewellery and silverware with training in metal casting and forging.

Designer and meta-projector, graduate of the DAMS in Bologna, wrote the book "L'officina Alessi. Alberto Alessi and Alessandro Mendini: Ten years of projects, 1980-1990". In 1990, Alberto Alessi entrusted her with the management of the Alessi Study Centre (CSA), a place of experimentation where professionals from different disciplines and young creatives came together in workshops and designed innovative collections, developing the concept of meta-design. Since 2000, she has continued her collaboration with Alessi as part of the LPWK Design Studio, which she founded and manages. She teaches at the Domus Academy and the NABA.
