The Treebies are pairs of hand-painted blown glass baubles that look like two large eyes. With this accessory, the studio PlayLab, Inc. overturns the paradigm of Christmas tree decorations, giving them personality and releasing them from their classic role as a passive support, finally becoming a figure with its own life. Available in three versions each intentionally given a human name - Carol, Nick and Holly – they are surprising objects that involve those who put them on the tree and those who observe them, for an amusing and fresh exchange of glances.
