The Toru Collection

DESIGNED BY NENDO

The new Toru collection, designed by Nendo, brings creative imagination and artistry into stainless-steel appliances, infusing functional objects with elegant, playful, and surprising lines. The name Toru, which means ‘through’ in Japanese, reflects Nendo’s inspiration for this collection, as black tube-like elements run spiritedly through the various objects, creating compositions with cleverly unexpected volumes.

Kettle

The Toru kettle offers an ironic and surprising twist to traditional metalworking, transforming an everyday household object into a symbol of art. The handle seamlessly becomes a spout as it passes through the strong steel volume of the kettle’s body, softening the metallic material without altering its refined aura.

Juicer

Transforming abstract concepts into tangible shapes, the Toru juicer blends effortless elegance with uncompromising functionality. A single tube-like structure playfully floats through the design, piercing the lid, forming the handles, and extending from the body as a spout. The result is a charming, sophisticated, and unexpected reinterpretation of a favorite kitchen device.
