Venusia
Venusia is a variation on the name Venus, the goddess of beauty. The collection narrates the bond between human beings and body ornaments, whose very beauty becomes an element of "shielding and protection".
Ancestral and industrial, figurative and abstract, gold and black. Elena Salmistraro, designing the Venusia collection, creates an imagery in which the contrast of textures, colours and geometries is enhanced by precious workshop manufacturing made in Italy.

The decoration obtained with a succession of dots interprets an ancient and fascinating goldsmith's technique in an industrial key: Etruscan Granulation. Thanks to its rich interaction with light, it becomes a sort of luminous skin and the jewels become almost magical objects.
