Michele De Lucchi
Geboren 1951 in Ferrara. Seit den 1970er Jahren ist er Protagonist kompromissloser Architektur und des radikalen Designs. Er hat Objekte für namhafte Unternehmen entworfen und architektonische Projekte in der ganzen Welt realisiert: von Industriebauten bis hin zu Kulturzentren. Seine Designsprache balanciert zwischen Funktionalität und Poesie und kombiniert essenzielle Formen, natürliche Materialien und einen handwerklichen Ansatz, der Innovation und Tradition miteinander verbindet. Er ist Gründer von AMDL CIRCLE, einem multidisziplinären Studio mit humanistischem Designansatz, und hat mehrere renommierte Auszeichnungen erhalten, darunter den Compasso d'Oro für sein Lebenswerk. Seine Werke werden in den wichtigsten internationalen Museen ausgestellt.

He has designed buildings for well-known companies and executed architectural projects all over the world: from industrial buildings to cultural centres. His design language balances functionality and poetry and combines essential shapes, natural materials and a craftsman's approach that combines innovation and tradition. He is the founder of AMDL CIRCLE, a multidisciplinary studio with a humanistic approach to design, and has received several prestigious awards, including the Compasso d'Oro for his life's work. His works are exhibited in the most important international museums.
