Born in Detroit in 1970, Adam began his career working as an apprentice for a master jeweler, learning the traditional techniques and processes of metalsmithing. He received his BFA degree from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan and a Master of Fine Arts from Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Adam currently maintains his studio practice and teaches as an adjunct faculty member at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan.
