"Il Tornitore Matto" at Milano Home starred in the Breaking News area. The experimental project unveils metal homeware by global designers, born as a research lab in applied arts.
On the occasion of Milano Home, a trade fair for the homeware industry that was held in Milan from January 11th to 14th, “Il TornitoreMatto”, a project led by Alberto Alessi and Giulio Iacchetti, was the protagonist of the Breaking News area.
“Il Tornitore Matto”, which was born as an experimental project operating as a research lab in the field of applied arts, presents its first chapter with a series of homeware and tableware objects made in metal and created by a multigenerational group of international designers: Michael Anastassiades, Federico Angi, Andrea Branzi, Pierre Charpin, Michele De Lucchi, Naoto Fukasawa, Paolo Ulian, Nika Zupanc and Iacchetti himself.
Milano Home narrates the ongoing transformation of the homeware world through the objects that accompany people in the stages of their daily lives. Objects that represent the stories, personalities, tastes and emotions of those who own and use them, but also of those who design them, produce them and sell them.
