Stefano Giovannoni
Nato a La Spezia nel 1954, architetto e designer allievo di Buti all’università di Firenze. Costituisce nei primi anni ’80 il gruppo King-Kong Production insieme a Guido Venturini. Progettista metanoico per eccellenza, ha l’industrial design nel sangue e una capacità di capire il pubblico come pochi tra i progettisti rappresentati in questo catalogo. I suoi progetti, iniziati con il vassoio Girotondo (1989, disegnato con Guido Venturini) e con i primi oggetti ludici in plastica della serie Family Follows Fiction (1993), si articolano in una vasta famiglia di oggetti in produzione nei cataloghi Officina Alessi, Alessi e A di Alessi.
