Massimo Morozzi introduced us to this Iraqi-born architect in the mid Eighties. It took twenty years before an opportunity actually materialized, in the shape of the tea and coffee set designed for the "Tea&Coffee Towers" project (2003). That was later followed by this stainless steel vase.

Zaha Hadid

Zaha Hadid (Bagdad 1950) studied at the Architectural Association in London, where she qualified in 1977. She was teacher at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, and is Visiting Professor at Yale University. She began her professional career in 1979. Her major completed projects include the lf one pavilion at Weil am Rhein; the Mind Zone at Millennium Dome in London; a tram station and car park in Strasbourg and a ski jump in Innsbruck. Zaha Hadid is also well known as a painter and designer: her work has been shown in various exhibitions in the United States, Japan, Britain and Germany. Zaha Hadid died in 2016.
